We had some problems with the room, but the friendly staff sorted them out right away. The location is fantastic, with superb views and great food. We'll definitely come back.

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were super spacious, breakfast was great, and so were the swimming pool and sauna. Great location too!

Breakfast had everything we needed, and the Rituals soaps were a nice touch. Our room was big and clean, with a comfortable bed, and the bathroom was spacious with a bath. The staff were very nice. There's also a lovely garden, a gorgeous view, and parking at the hotel.

The breakfast was a highlight, with mostly local ingredients. The staff were friendly, and the facilities, amenities, and rooms were excellent. It's an elegant, cozy place to get away, enjoy the view and quiet, in a nice peaceful town.

Epen makes a lovely base for walking and biking, with Maastricht about a 20-minute drive away and Aachen also close. The town is pretty and touristy without feeling kitschy. At the hotel, the grounds are tastefully decorated and have a B&B feel, with pleasant outdoor seating and a trampoline overlooking the countryside that was almost addictive. Some shade over the trampoline would be welcome. The rooms are decent, with eco toiletries and cute balconies. Breakfast was okay, though I missed cured salmon and would have preferred something more bohemian. I couldn't try the gym, and the pool was locked during the day, though it looked okay from outside. Paul, the manager, knows a lot and is helpful, but came across as curt, especially after the very warm hospitality we got at other countryside hotels. I'm probably a bit biased because of that.
