Molepôlle 6 - Stadslogementen Franeker

The only real quibble is that the toilet paper holders are placed a bit illogically, which says how little there is to fault here. The apartment is extremely well kept and perfectly clean, just a short walk from Franeker's center. It has everything you need, from bath, hand and tea towels to soap dispensers, dishes and cutlery.

Franeker is a charming little town, with lovely owner-run shops and excellent restaurants. We explored a lot by bike, and left the car for free in the parking lot near the house. Harlingen was a 30-minute ride, and from there we took the ferry to Terschelling. The mainland Wadden Sea was easy to reach by bike too, and wonderfully peaceful. We spent a very relaxing week at Molepôlle 6. The apartment is tastefully furnished, the hosts were attentive, and everything provided was high quality. The beds were comfortable, and it was so relaxing to watch boats from the living room window, the bench outside the house, or right by the canal. We could charge our e-bikes in the garage, where the garden furniture was stored as well. After we got home, a little surprise from our hosts was waiting for us. Many thanks to Folkert and Anja. The landlords were friendly and helpful, and restaurants are within walking distance. The apartment is right on the canal, very well furnished and in excellent condition. There was plenty of everything, including bed linen and towels. Nothing was missing.

Franeker is a lovely town, and Wetterhûske was a fantastic place for a holiday. Super clean, with nothing missing, and the hosts were lovely and attentive. 👍
