Hotel Wemeldinge

Jamy and Joke were such natural, welcoming hosts, and it was easy to connect with the staff and other guests. The garden could use some upkeep, though. We had a good dinner with plenty of variety, and the dessert one evening was a surprise. Take a photo of what you order, though! Our arrival went smoothly, and for a small extra fee we got a bigger room. Rooms 114 and 113 on the ground floor are more spacious. The staff were polite, most of them Ukrainian. Breakfast was well prepared. It was our first stay at an Enjoy hotel, and we came away thinking, small but mighty! The Kiestenburg review can be retired now: the only room with a bathtub is a long way out on the property. No need to repeat that every time.

Lunch and dinner were the standout meals, with plenty of choice and lovely presentation. Compliments to the kitchen. The evening activities were fun, the staff accommodating, and the setting beautiful. We came for a weekend with the whole family and affiliated members, and had a great time. The rooms felt rather basic and a bit small. Breakfast had lots to choose from, but compared with the other meals it was disappointing, with no hot dishes apart from something like a boiled egg. A lovely spot for a getaway.

Jamie looked after everything so well, and the whole team was very friendly. The food was delicious, truly fantastic, and they were happy to help with anything. Nick is a great guy too, and Bingo had us laughing. Thanks to the Wemeldingen team for a wonderful stay. Best wishes from the Jansen and Krol family.

I didn't sleep well the first night because my room was over the kitchen and the refrigerators kept kicking in every five minutes. They moved me to a different room, though, and it was lovely and quiet. Everyone on staff was just as nice, and the cook gave us a delicious meal every evening. Really enjoyed staying here. I'll be back with my sister!
