Breakfast was lovely, with fresh bread, cheese, ham and yoghurt, plus as much cappuccino or other machine coffee as you wanted. The old building is beautiful, and we managed to take a couple of photos before unpacking. We’d arrived early from Berlin by public transport while the owner was busy getting rooms ready, but they let us wait in the breakfast room with a coffee. It’s also very close to the place where we hired bikes for a day of exploring.

Back for a second stay, and it was a pleasure again. The decor is beautiful, everything was just right, and the breakfast was fantastic.

The rooms were adequate, and the breakfast was very good. For what you get, though, it didn’t feel like particularly good value.
