The location is nice, and the room was okay, if a little old. The place has potential, but the service lacked professionalism. It didn’t feel like a hotel, with no reception or luggage room, and a staff member came into the room without knocking. At breakfast, staff with heavily tattooed, junky-style appearances were talking very loudly among themselves and seemed to be drinking beer. A pity, because the place could be good.

We usually stop here for a drink, and it’s always good. The staff are nice too. I’d recommend it.

I came here for a hen party and was impressed. The stew was delicious, and attentive staff checked on us regularly. The atmosphere felt posh, with big halls, a view into the kitchen, and busy tables all around. I’ll be back!

The brewery tour was the main reason for our visit, and we finished with a beer tasting. There was a small mix-up among the staff about the snacks afterwards, but they took responsibility and treated us even better than we expected. The place itself is a lovely mix of castle-like character and modern architecture. Definitely worth a visit.

The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was nice. I was less impressed by the “heavy” slot burger, though. I expected more, but got a fairly basic, medium-sized burger that tasted nice, with fries on the side.
