Apple Tree Cottage is perfectly placed, with the town square and shops a short walk away, the train station nearby, and Brunel just around the block. We came to Gouda for one night and wished we’d had a couple of days there. The cottage is completely separate from the hosts’ home, though they live on site and are close when you need them. Jos and Marleen were amazing and helpful, and gave us maps, bike routes, cookies, and drinks. They even rented us their bikes, saving us an hour of paperwork and the hunt for a rental shop. Fabulous stay in a very cute town.

The garden was fantastic, and we really enjoyed our stay. The apple tree house feels cozy and comfortable, with care put into everything. Jos and Marleen were friendly and helpful, and their tips made our day trip even better. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Gouda, we recommend booking here.

The garden was our favorite part. We spent time out there relaxing with a glass of wine, and the main square is only about a five-minute walk away. We loved the cottage, too. Jos and Marleen made us feel welcome and were very friendly. I’d highly recommend staying here.

We were hoping to find somewhere lovely, cozy, and quiet to relax, and Jos and Marleen’s cottage was just right. It’s right in the heart of the city, and the hosts have good recommendations for you. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay. Highly recommended 😊
