B&B Pakhuis Emden

We had such a lovely stay. Carla brings a beautifully put-together breakfast right to your room each morning, and the courtyard view and terrace are a nice touch. The B&B is peaceful but still central. Inside, it’s adorable and welcoming, with a thoughtfully furnished room and a small kitchen and bathroom that had everything we needed.

The location puts you right in the city center, and the hostess was so friendly. We stayed in a lovely, atmospheric room in a beautiful old warehouse with lots of original details. When the weather’s nice, you can sit out in the garden too.

We felt at home as soon as Carla and Ferry welcomed us into the warehouse. The garden room was spacious, quiet, cozy, and spotless, with comfortable beds, a neat bathroom, plenty of towels, and a kitchenette with coffee and tea. Breakfast was delicious, generous, and carefully prepared every morning. It’s just a short walk from the city center, which made it a great base for a few days in Groningen. A real B&B gem.

Breakfast arrived fresh at our room, and the host was really friendly. The cozy room made us feel at home right away. There’s also a lovely terrace for coffee when the weather’s good. I’d happily recommend it for a day trip to Groningen.
