The staff were great, the place was very clean, and parking was free. It’s a bit outside town, and buses don’t come very often. A taxi to the city center costs about 20 euros. Even so, I had a very positive experience.

The room looked decent, but the cleanliness really shocked me. There was hair on the bedsheet, which looked as though it had already been used, and more hair on the pillow along with a mark that looked like drool. The toilet floor had a sticky patch, the bins had no liners, and underneath the bed clearly hadn’t been cleaned at all. Check-in also took over 10 minutes because the person at reception couldn’t help me right away. The site is under construction but still accessible. At the moment, I wouldn’t recommend it for people with disabilities or wheelchair users.

The man working reception on November 9 around 19:30 was so helpful and nice, and even gave me some free candy. Please give him a raise. I had a great experience and would recommend it.

The rooms were fine, though for the price I expected more. We were charged too much, and it still hadn’t been sorted out after more than a month. Update: even after more than two months, it’s still unresolved.

The towels in the bedrooms came with stains, and the management was rude. The worst hotel for service and quality in all of Groningen.
