Breakfast was top notch. I looked forward to it every morning, though you should book your breakfast time slot in advance. The hotel made me a very happy traveler. Just keep in mind there’ll be lots of chatter at night. I sleep easily, so it didn’t bother me.

The rooftop bar is cute and cozy, with fireplaces for cold weather and a decent range of beers and cocktails. The rooms have a unique, cozy feel, and the service is great. They’re a little cramped, but the location more than makes up for it, within walking distance of everything downtown.

If you’re after a quiet place, this isn’t it. There are lots of bars nearby, open until after midnight. The hotel is right in the middle of Groningen city center and feels like a travel museum with all its decorations. Everything was very clean, they use Ritual brand body care, and the price was OK. They offer special parking at Ossenmarkt, 21 euro for 24 hours, about 5 minutes walked to the hotel. Check-in and checkout were smooth. I’d be happy to come back to Groningen and stay here again.

The travel theme gives the rooms character, with cabinets shaped like airplane overhead bins and pictures of destinations all around. The atmosphere is inviting, the rooms work well, and the location is great. A nice hotel with decent rooms.

A clean hotel with a fun theme, great staff and a great breakfast. There was a Nespresso machine in my room, as you’d expect from the Dutch love of coffee. Mine even had plates and a hot plate for preparing a meal.
