Europarcs Gulperberg

The cabins were really warm, with comfortable beds and plenty of places to sit. The rooms are cool and have lovely views of the hills and valleys. Gulpenberg is about a 5-minute drive away, and Aachen takes around 25 minutes. It's well placed for visiting the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. Just remember to bring your own towels, since none are supplied in the rooms.

The place was very clean, and the front office staff were really nice. Great accommodation.

The area is lovely, with beautiful views, and the house was okay for the price, although kitchen equipment was a bit sparse. But we came for peace and quiet and got constant workshop noise instead. In March, low season, three quarters of the park seemed empty, yet we were assigned a house right beside the maintenance workshop. All day there was a small, smelly, noisy tractor driving in and out, a generator and pressure washer, then metal cutting, wood sawing, drilling, and more. Our cabin porch faced the workshop, so we couldn't use it because of the noise. After putting up with a day of that, we asked to move. They said it would cost extra, even though we'd already been inconvenienced and would have to pack everything and move. No apology either. 🤡 Apparently bad reviews are welcome 🤷🏻‍♀️ Stay away from cabin A002 and the others in that area if you want quiet.

The views over the hilly Dutch countryside were lovely, and check-in was smooth. The pool water was very cold, though. We booked two adjacent sites, but one had such an uneven surface that sleeping in the tent was inconvenient, so we moved it around trying to find a level spot. Also, neither site had a tree, and we ended up roasting in the sun.
