A beautiful place with a restaurant, play area and green spaces for walks. If you want a taste of the Dutch countryside, I’d recommend it. The scenery is breathtaking, and I highly recommend visiting.

I contacted the property about a long-term agreement, as their homepage said one was available. After that, communication went downhill. They offered the same price shown online for any guest on a short stay, saying prices would go up anyway in 2020. Don’t advertise special terms if you can’t honor them. A few kilometers farther on, kastajnefabriek has its act together and offers a fantastic location, rooms and customer experience.

I’ve stayed here many times and love coming back. The people are wonderful, friendly and helpful, the food and beer are really, really nice, and the rooms are perfect. It’s lovely and peaceful all around.

A good spot for larger groups, with nice hiking trails nearby. The decor’s a little dated, but it’s clean and has a good atmosphere.

A cozy, lovely place for a weekend away. The owners are really nice and accommodating, and it’s a good way to see the Netherlands beyond Amsterdam’s more commercialized areas.
