B&B Bouwmanshoeve

We’d happily return. The hosts were warm, helpful, and very accommodating, and every space we saw, from our room and bathroom to the breakfast room and shared areas, was exceptionally clean. The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of personal touches and something for everyone. Thanks for a really lovely stay.

The location was a real highlight: quiet, surrounded by fields, and still a quick trip to Haamstede or Renesse. We brought our bikes and could keep them in the shed, where there’s also power for charging an e-bike. There’s lots of parking, and several spots around the B&B where you can sit with tea or coffee from the breakfast room and take in the Zeeland landscape. It worked perfectly as a starting point for cycling routes, which is how we spent our time. We had a lovely few days here. The owners are kind and easy to ask for tips or help. Our room was cleaned daily, and the bed was comfortable, though a little firm, which suited me. The shower had a good stream; the curtain is a minor downside, but the space is small, so it’s understandable. The toilet was fine. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh rolls and croissants, orange juice, cold cuts, cheese, sweets, yogurt with fruit, nuts or granola, and tea or coffee. You could have a boiled or scrambled egg, or an omelet, too. They were happy to accommodate requests.

The hosts were so kind and helpful, and you can tell they put their hearts into looking after the place. Bouwmanshoeve was peaceful, beautifully furnished, and exceptionally clean. We also loved the carefully prepared breakfast. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely come back. Highly recommended!

We felt at home as soon as we arrived, and the service was really outstanding. The hosts are such a warm, welcoming couple. They can also help with suggestions for outings and restaurants, and will arrange a bicycle rental if you ask. The place is lovely and peaceful, and our room had everything we needed. It was unbelievably clean, with the owners taking care of everything themselves. Breakfast was freshly made with care, fantastic, and had something for everyone. They did their best to meet every request. For us, this was easily the best place we’ve stayed. Five stars and more!
