Hotel Bom

I stayed here with my daughter and our dog. The room was beautiful, and the hotel is right in the city centre. It’s a lovely place with very nice people working there. We’ll come back next time, and I can highly recommend it to anyone!

The rooms are tidy, comfortable and beautifully decorated, and our dog felt right at home. The bathroom and stone floor were a bit chilly without direct heating, but otherwise fine, with nice fixtures. We found the beds a little firm, though that’s personal preference. We’ve been to this charming hotel twice, which says a lot. The whole team is incredibly friendly and makes you feel welcome straight away. Dogs are welcomed with open arms. The food is delicious, and there’s a wide choice of drinks and beers. Plenty of locals eat here, which speaks to the quality and service, and gives the place a cosy feel without it getting overcrowded. Hotel guests also get extra personal attention. Breakfast is generous and varied. I did miss some fresh vegetables, and coffee from a machine with powdered milk isn’t my favorite, even though the beans are fresh. It’s a wonderful hotel in a charming neighborhood, with what we needed to get away in a beautiful region.

We had dinner in the hotel and were pleasantly surprised. The meal was delicious and well prepared, with real care in the cooking. Breakfast was varied, generous and nicely presented, the sort of morning where you take time over every bite. The room was clean and comfortable, and had everything I wanted for a peaceful night in a refined setting. Parking was easy, which isn’t always the case in tourist areas, and the neighborhood was pleasant. During my road trip, I found the welcome especially memorable. The staff were kind, sincere and attentive, and their professional, warm manner made the place feel relaxing right away. I highly recommend it for a relaxing stay or a food-focused getaway.

Our main issue was the price for what you get. The rooms are new, clean and a good size, with a nice bathroom, and dogs are allowed. But the shower is so open that it leaves a big puddle on the floor. The room was very noisy, and ours was next to the delivery service, which added to the noise. Breakfast wasn’t lacking in quantity, but we felt it was really inadequate without cucumber, tomatoes, vegetables or a fresh piece of fruit. The church tower chimes every hour, even at night. They can’t do anything about that, but it’s very annoying.
