It’s in a great location, welcomes dogs, and has a nice bar and restaurant. Unfortunately, they close around 9pm. My room was adequate, but it’s seen better days.

The beach is the one good thing about the location. We felt really unwelcome during our stay. At 8:15 on Sunday evening, we asked to see the coffee menu and were told everything would close in half an hour. It felt like we were expected to order quickly, pay hotel prices, and leave, even though everywhere else was locked and our room was the only place to go. The prices felt like too much for a bed and breakfast. What a disappointing weekend away. We wouldn't recommend this hotel and won't be back.

It was very quiet at night, with friendly staff and free parking. The breakfast was great, and getting to the beach was quick. The rooms were clean and fine, though a little dated. For a three-star place, it was really good. We may come back for a short trip.

We stayed for two days during the August holidays with the family. The lighthouse is right nearby, about a four-minute walk from the hotel. Seems like a lovely spot for a longer week away or a short summer weekend.

The staff were very friendly and made the stay pleasant, though the interior is a bit dated. Room 104, called Grutto, looks out onto a dull concrete alley and fire escape. It's also beside the night entrance, where partygoers come back in, so I'd avoid it.
