Haarlem Hotelsuites

I’ve been staying with Haarlem suites for around four months on a two weeks on, two weeks off work rotation. Room 6, right at the top, is massive and feels very luxurious, with a superking bed and a huge bath. The fridge, wine fridge, and excellent coffee machine are great additions. The apartments vary in size and quality, though they’re all good and each is different. The kitchens are tiny, but fine for making a small meal. That said, eating out in the city is exceptional. Every room has good wifi, a bottle of wine, and laundry service if you need it. Ask about parking, as it can be arranged in the nearest car park. A brilliant company all round.

This was our second stay, and we really like the apartment suites. They’re spacious and nice, and the staff are friendly and helpful. They even offered to carry our bags up the steep, narrow stairs. We said no, but it was kind of them to offer.

The reception staff were exceptionally nice, and I have no complaints about them. The accommodation is laid out nicely, though there are a few issues. The air conditioning has to stay on, and it’s much too noisy at night. You can also hear footsteps from the apartment above quite clearly, which gets a bit annoying. The location is very central, with everything close by.

Finding the place took us a little while because we arrived at night, after reception had closed. They’d emailed instructions, though, and once we found the building, self check-in went smoothly. The apartment itself was lovely, spacious, and private. I absolutely loved it and will definitely come back.
