The free breakfast was delicious, and there was good food and fun games in the on-site restaurant. Staff were very friendly, and the place was clean and conveniently right by a bus stop. We had a great experience.

Be aware, this will be a Refugee location, with young males staying among the guests. If that doesn't bother you, enjoy your stay. If anything happens, don't complain.

This was our first time at a Stayokay. It combines hostel basics, like a minimalist room, no towel, and sheets you put on and take off yourself, with hotel features such as private rooms, a bar, restaurant, breakfast, and no outside food. The staff were lovely. We enjoyed the sunny patio, good breakfast, games, ping-pong table, and clean, modern room, which was quiet at night. The room did get quite warm, and since the window couldn't be opened fully, we had to borrow a fan to sleep. Maybe the first-floor rooms are cooler. The curtain didn't cover the whole window, so we were glad to have sleep masks. The location was okay for exploring Haarlem, about 15 minutes away by bike, though there's not much around the hotel.

Everything was clean and there was all we needed for a really enjoyable stay. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and I'd recommend this great hostel. I'd certainly bring my family back when I next visit Haarlem.

It's a little out of the way, but the hostel was quiet and nice. Breakfast was simple but good, and complimentary tea and coffee were available until 4:30 pm. I'd stay here again.
