All the old tugboat details are still there, from the switches and doors to the fittings outside. With its different decks and great balconies, you feel like a captain, and you’re right among the fishing activity. We slept incredibly well in the cozy double bunk, even though the boat rocks a little. I’m in love with this place! Just keep in mind it’s an old ship with lots of steps and very steep stairs, so you need to be fully mobile and have no physical limitations. The shower is tiny, the corridors and toilet get very cold in winter, and some spots smell quite strongly of diesel. But that’s to be expected. Fantastic accommodation, with everything you need.

It’s in a quiet spot, and watching the ships go by from the wheelhouse is great. The view from up there is superb. The old East German tugboat has been restored beautifully, and we were impressed. It was clean and tidy, the inventory was spotless, and the bed was wonderful. The shower also warmed up quickly and had a generous spray, which can be a challenge in other hotels. We had a very pleasant stay!

Remember to pack earplugs for the ferry ride, and when you park, stay to the left instead of following Google Maps to the right. The ship itself has been restored beautifully, with lots of thoughtful touches and nothing missing. It has a special atmosphere, especially if you haven't stayed on this kind of vessel before.

We had a great time with our two kids, aged 10 and 12, and would happily come back. The working old tractor was a huge adventure for them, and the place was well equipped, clean, and cared for. The beds were very comfortable, and the contact was friendly and helpful with directions. The steep stairs mean it's less suitable for toddlers or anyone with mobility issues, but we loved our night there.

We were unlucky with the weather, but the stay was fantastic. Staying in a boat turned into a holiday apartment made for a really unique experience.
