We skipped breakfast because we were rushing for the ferry, just a 12-minute walk away. Check-out was easy, and the owner was kind and helpful throughout. The room was cozy, very clean, and had a decent-sized bathroom and furnishings. The beds felt a little too soft to us, though that's personal preference. A comfortable place for an overnight stay before a morning ferry to Terschelling island.

The historic centre around the hotel is quiet and lovely, and the staff are very nice. The building is old, but inside it's modern, with a little kitchen area, fridge, and coffee machine. The fridge was too loud for me, so I had to unplug it overnight. Breakfast was fine, if nothing special. There are no parking spaces at the hotel, but you can park a few metres away for a fee. I can recommend staying here.

Beautiful, clean, and very quiet. There isn't room service, so it feels more like Airbnb apartments than a hotel.

The hostess called ahead to arrange our arrival, then welcomed us warmly and marked nearby sights on a handy little city map. We stayed in apartment nr 1, with parking right beside it; we paid at a machine nearby. The hotel is in a quiet part of town, though you can hear the church bells, and everything is walkable. Breakfast came on a separate tray for each of us, with a nice assortment. Even our picky 8-year-old ate all she could. We also bought a delicious packed lunch and ate it in Kasteel de Haars amazing garden. Harlingen is beautiful.
