Hotel Anna Casparii

We came back six months later and still found the hotel very nice. Harlingen was lively this time, unlike in February when everything was closed, and it's a nice city to explore. The hotel is central to everything, and the staff are still very friendly. This time we had a quiet room at the back with a big terrace. We recommend it to everyone, and we'd definitely choose this hotel again if we return to Harlingen. On our first visit, the hotel was very nice and clean, and our spacious room had a harbor view. The staff were friendly. We ordered dinner in the room, and it was delicious and more than enough. The grand dessert really was grand, and we couldn't finish it all.

The sea bass was the standout for me, full of flavor and served over zeekraal, which I could happily have eaten more of. The cheesecake was finally the kind I’d been hoping to find in the north of The Netherlands. The menu itself didn’t seem remarkable, but the food was better than expected and beautifully presented. Staff were relaxed, friendly, attentive, and personable. I’d definitely recommend the restaurant and attached hotel.

I was here on a work trip and had a spacious, spotless room with a lovely feel and a great harbour view. The restaurant served hearty, good food, and that packed lunch was the best part :-). Everyone was friendly and helpful. I’d happily recommend Anna Casparii and hope to be back soon.

Breakfast was excellent, and Silvia (sorry if I’ve got the name wrong) greeted us each morning and was so helpful. The staff were amazing throughout, going out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Our room was clean and very comfortable, too. Many thanks to everyone. I highly recommend this hotel, and the food was excellent.
