The Budget Hotel

The staff were welcoming and easy to work with, and the service was excellent. I had a great time meeting people from different countries and cultures. Thanks for making my stay so memorable.

We were scammed out of 800€, and there was no customer support or any apparent interest in returning the money.

When I first moved to the Nederlands, I was really glad to stay here. The staff are friendly and helpful, and I came to think of them as personal friends. They helped me register with the Gemeente, sometimes put on entertainment, and have a bar. You can also book an evening meal ahead of time. You’re expected to clean your own room and bring your own sheets. The residents’ kitchen has plenty of pots and pans, but you’ll need your own plate, mug and cutlery. There’s secure storage for your food and kitchen things. I stayed through the winter and was never cold, with heating included. There’s a bus stop right outside and a good range of food shops nearby. The price made sense for the facilities and condition. With the bar, games room, lounge and ensuite, I didn’t have much to complain about. The hosts are especially generous at Christmas, and I always felt welcome in my temporary home while waiting for my house to be ready. I’d happily stay again, though it probably isn’t for someone expecting an Instagram-perfect, pampered stay.

They found me a partner hotel for a long stay without any hassle, and replies came very quickly. The team really seemed to care about finding the best accommodation for my budget. Definitely the easiest service I’ve used in the Netherlands. 10/10, highly recommend!
