Luxury Stay in Hellendoorn

The staff were friendly, welcoming, and happy to answer our questions. We could rent or get bikes to explore the area, which is beautiful and feels authentic. There's also a great restaurant on site, De Hazelaer, for lunch or dinner. The heated swimming pool was an amazing experience, though it did make me think about the environmental impact. We visited in winter, and the surroundings were still beautiful and very relaxing. The houses are luxurious, clean, and set up for all seasons, and the whole park is well organized. I can imagine how stunning it must be in spring or summer. It's an amazing, luxurious holiday park that I strongly recommend. Getting there by public transport might be challenging.

There was plenty of nature just beyond the park, great for walking, and we got lucky with the weather, so we could do some astrophotography. Our two-person suite was clean and a good size for a long weekend. The park's restaurant was up to a good standard, and we had some nice meals there. Very nice location.

They took an insurance deposit from me and never returned it, so please be careful, especially if you're a tourist. I stayed for 3 weeks and exchanged several emails with them, but still didn't get any money back. I paid the amount in cash when I checked in. They said they wouldn't return cash and that it would be transferred to my bank card, but that never happened. I felt stolen from and lied to. They show themselves as good people, but I found the opposite, a group of fraudsters.

We stayed in an XXL vIlla and had everything we needed to relax. The park and surroundings were quiet. The villa felt luxurious and homely, with a gas fireplace, and it had a luxurious bathroom with a luxurious shower and sun shower. We were greeted in a friendly and hospitable way.
