The private entrance and the peaceful feel of the place were superb, and everything was very clean and tidy. The kitchen had everything stocked, though we didn't use it. The sauna warmed up slowly and never got very hot. I loved the jacuzzi, especially with the crisp cold air and warm water, though its jets were just average compared with others I've tried. The bed felt a little too hard for me. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

We paid for privacy and were very disappointed. During our three-day wedding party at de Heide, the owners came by each day and commented on our presence. Their children were playing close to us, along with their dog. If privacy matters during your stay, don't book this place.

A calm, relaxing place to stay and get away from the stress of the city.

We had 19 people in the large house and had absolutely nothing to complain about. There was room to spend time together, with space to retreat when you wanted a bit of time alone. The wooden cabins were incredibly nice and spacious. We got a warm welcome and a quick tour, and the people were lovely. There were jacuzzis, saunas, a billiards room, and plenty of room for outdoor activities. Five stars for everything. Thanks so much, Mel, Victor. Regards, Gert-Jan
