It was magical waking up to giraffes eating breakfast. The Safari hotel went beyond what I expected, and though it's expensive, I thought it was worth it. Our room and balcony were perfect, clean and spacious, with an extra bedroom for the children. They were thrilled by the little safari hats waiting when we arrived. When my daughter lost hers to the monkeys in the safari park, the staff kindly gave her a new one. We also swam in the resort pool, and the girls loved the slide. It was such a wonderful start to our holiday; we'd love to come back.

The breakfast buffet was great and included in our stay, and it's probably what lifted this from one star to two. We were two adults and two children staying one night, but the room had only been prepared for two people when we arrived. It took about an hour and a half to sort that out. Food at Moto was okay, though I don't think it justified the prices. The route signs were too small and poorly lit. The pool area at Moto was very basic and seemed aimed more at toddlers.

We stayed in a lodge in the park again over Easter weekend and had an amazing trip. It's ideally located for a visit to efteling, just 25 minutes away. The drive-through safari and ranger safari are both well worth trying.

The animals have excellent space, set in terrain that's as close as possible to their natural surroundings. Their endangered species breeding programme is excellent too. Highly recommend a visit.

We stayed in one of the Safari hotel's Savannah rooms and had a really peaceful, excellent stay. From the room we could see several kinds of animals, including giraffes, zebras, rhinos, and ostriches, and the resort facilities were close by. I went with two six-year-old children, and the night after checkout they cried because they wanted to sleep in Beekse Bergen again. The one thing I'd improve is the Ostrich Express frequency. At the moment it comes every 45 minutes, and it can get cramped in the morning and after Speelland closes.
