Darley's

My wife and I spent the New Year holidays here, and the stay is one we won't forget. The apartment has a real soul, and we were treated to some delicious things. Thank you for a wonderful place.

We’ve stayed at Darley’s twice now, and the host was excellent again. There was a full fridge and loads of little extras, plus Rituals products in both the kitchen and bathroom. Having a parking spot right in central Hilversum is a real bonus. The bath with a radio in the apartment without a garden was lovely and relaxing. The one issue: when our dog howled after we left him, which he never normally does, the owner didn't contact us until two days later. If she’d told us right away, we would have taken him along the next day. Apart from that, everything was TOP.

We skipped the breakfast option, but could still help ourselves to food and drinks in the kitchen, and bikes were available for exploring. The rooms were clean and very comfortable, and Marielise was a superb host who had everything covered. The place is just off the restaurant and bar area, five minutes from the train, so it's handy but stayed quiet. Nothing to fault.

The kitchen was so well stocked that I could've managed for a week, and breakfast is self-serve, with some prep needed. The room is well equipped and feels more like an apartment. The host is lovely and incredibly helpful. It's near local transport and the station, though parking is limited, so there's little reason to drive. They even provide traditional Dutch bikes. Can't wait to return.
