B&B de Hoek

The room faces north, so it doesn't get much sun and can feel a little cold. Still, you can always sit in the small garden, with several seating spots and lots of plants. It's quiet too, with no car noise, just leaves rustling. It felt almost like a village holiday. Everything is within easy reach, including the metro, beach, city center, and ferry, all roughly 1.5-3 km away. One thing to know: cards aren't accepted. Cash is preferred, and iDEAL is also an option. Inside, the room is warmly decorated with lots of wood and wood-toned details. There's a spacious bathroom, a big comfortable bed, and I slept really well. Storage includes a wardrobe and luggage rack. There are also a smart TV, underfloor heating, and lighting beneath the bed. The mini-fridge, coffee maker, and kettle were handy, and I liked having herbal and fruit teas alongside the usual green and black tea. The owners were so sweet and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. They even offered me a coffee.

We were glad to come back each evening to this peaceful B&B during our Netherlands holiday. Its location worked well for trips to Delft, The Hague, Rotterdam, the Kinderdijk windmills, and even the Kukenhof tulip gardens. Everything was impeccably clean. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was especially spacious. We felt right at home.

Breakfast came beautifully arranged to our room, and we had a lovely couple of days in a beautiful room. We were welcomed very warmly. The B&B is a little way outside the village, so you'll need a bike or car to get to the beach.
