A good value place to stay, with great facilities and an apartment that was clean enough. There are lots of outdoor things to do around Hollum. Bring a bike or rent one.

The beds, which were box springs, were fine, and it's a great spot within walking distance of charming Hollum's center or a bike rental place. The beach is 1 km away, though construction there meant we had to cycle a bit farther. Everything was new, clean and tidy, and dishwasher tablets were supplied. When my daughter had a wet accident overnight, the landlords washed and dried her bedding and returned it neatly. Some kitchen utensils were missing, which I reported to them, and the DVD players couldn't be used. The second TV only gets analog channels, so unfortunately it's unusable now.

We had a great stay in this dog-friendly place in a nice village. The owner responds quickly, and dishwasher tablets are even provided. Storage in the bathroom is lacking. The TV reception is poor, so bring a laptop and HDMI cable.

Set in lovely surroundings by the cozy, often quiet village of Hollum, probably the nicest village on Ameland, this is a nice apartment for up to four people. It has everything we needed, including a dishwasher, two TVs and a big sofa. There is a leak around the bathroom shower. Although it's a walk-in shower, the floor slopes away from the drain and towards the bathroom, so the whole bathroom can flood in about ten minutes if you leave it as it is.
