We couldn't check the electricity charges, and 6.9 Euros a night was added when we left for usage above 4 kWh. The water had been shut off in November to prevent freezing, apart from one tap in the heated facilities, the Ladies, which both genders used. With no hose connection available, we carried water to the motorhome bowl by bowl. Our low-wattage kettle tripped the supposedly 6-amp, 1.5 kW supply twice, so we switched to 10 amps. The restaurant was closed, though the free WiFi worked with a password. The site is open all year.

The shower was a highlight: modern, with an adjustable head and water temperature you can set from hot to cold. The toilets were consistently clean and had toilet paper, and the dishwashing area was clean with hot and cold water. Each pitch has power and water. Pitches are on grass, with an Astro Turf patch for a mat by the habitation door. Reception handles arrival and booking; the staff were helpful and pleasant. I think it also serves as a bar, and it looked as if food might be available, though I wasn't sure. Check the website for details. A very clean, good campsite.

The facilities were lovely and the staff friendly. It's a quiet place, perhaps a bit stifling, and well away from the beaten path. I did wonder whether people staying just one night are as welcome to the campers who settle in for a week 😏
