B&B Tussen De Poorten

The yellow ground-floor apartment was spacious, bright, and clean, with a private garden seating area, a comfortable chair by the TV, and an excellent bed. The B&B is beautiful and sits conveniently on the edge of Kampen’s historic centre. Free parking is available, and restaurants and terraces are within a five-minute walk. We had easy communication with Anja, who was friendly. We didn’t bring bikes, but there’s secure indoor storage for them. The floorboards overhead creaked loudly, including late at night and quite early in the morning. Breakfast was sparse this time, with few drinks, dry brown bread and rolls, and some toppings. We’ve had more generous and luxurious breakfasts elsewhere for the same price. That’s the only reason we’d take away the fourth star. The place otherwise deserves it.

The room came with plenty of towels, comfortable beds, a cozy sitting area, and a well-equipped kitchenette stocked with lots of coffee and tea. Tussen de Poorten is lovingly run and well maintained. We could park right outside, and it’s conveniently close to the town centre and beside a beautiful park. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Anja gave us a very warm welcome, and we’ll definitely come back. The room was comfortable, with tasteful decor and thoughtful details, and the bed was wonderful. Breakfast was generous too. A beautiful B&B in a great city location.

We had the yellow apartment and were allowed to use its lovely garden. The accommodation was beautiful, by the city park, peaceful, and close to the centre. We received a very warm welcome. Highly recommended if you enjoy a quiet spot but still want to walk into the busy parts of town.
