We finished a three-week trip here, and it was just what we needed. The location was perfect for enjoying the atmosphere and getting away from the noise, and the room was gorgeous. We also had lunch at the restaurant. The service was great, and the food had excellent, strong flavors.

We explored the area on bicycles during our four nights here. The people were really friendly and helpful, and the rooms have kitchenettes, with a supermarket down the road that has everything you might need. It’s a beautiful, quirky little hotel with a restaurant that closes Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Loved it.

Kayaking along the canals was great fun, and from the cozy accommodation it was easy to make trips to the seaside or Amsterdam. We also really recommend the two restaurants and the bakery. The food is delicious, and everyone is friendly and helpful. Simon is always available to lend a hand. It was fantastic, and we’d love to come back.

It was easy to drive from this pleasant, functional accommodation to Amsterdam or a park-and-ride, and there are beautiful villages nearby to visit. We had a fantastic stay and I highly recommend it!

We stayed in the Goodyear cottage. It was very nice and authentic, and the crockery and beautiful cupboard in the room suited it perfectly.
