The house is only two rooms, so even with a shared bathroom, it stayed clean and didn't feel like a big issue. The area was amazingly quiet, just birds, and still within walking distance of the city center. Breakfast was typically Dutch, nothing fancy, and arrived on a little cart outside the room, which was a nice touch. I did find the red sheets and towels a bit disappointing, and the place felt a little too homely for me, but it was still a pleasant stay.

We got such a warm greeting from the owner, who was very kind. The neighborhood was quiet, and the room was large with all the facilities. The decor felt a bit cheap and not especially tasteful to me, and the towels had a slightly unpleasant smell. White towels would be a better option. Breakfast was okay.

A quiet neighborhood, with friendly, helpful staff. Good value for the money.

I was initially unsure about sharing the bathroom and toilet, but in such a small house it really wasn't much of an issue. The hosts have put a lot of thought into the details, and the rooms are comfortably furnished. The brick building is well over a hundred years old and full of charm. I'd happily come back to this welcoming house next time I'm in Utrecht.
