We came in November, when it was very quiet, and the price was great. The park is small and car free, so parking, Kootwijk Duin, and the little playgrounds are only a short walk away. Our three year old loved the ducks in the water behind our place, number 6, and the pool was just steps away. He loved its circular layout, with an indoor and outdoor section, and the water inside was nicely warm. The park is beautiful and well maintained. The house was comfortable, with nice, new furniture. I only missed having an oven, since there was just a microwave. I’d definitely recommend it for families with small kids.

The WiFi, which is provided by kpn, was very poor. There’s coverage across the whole park, but the speed is quite limited. The restaurant food was so-so, not amazing, but convenient to have there. The pool isn’t large, though it’s pleasant. The house itself was tidy and nice, with plenty of room and supplies for our group. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

It’s really quiet, clean, and peaceful here. You’re better off having your own car to get there, but the surrounding forest is worth it.

I expected something nicer and a little more spacious for four people. The house we got this time felt really, really tiny for four. The kitchen bin was in the bathroom, and the vacuum was in the kids’ bedroom. I wasn’t very enthusiastic about it.

The pool was very clean, and the staff kept a close eye on what was going on. Entrance and food prices were very reasonable. We visited because a newspaper had called it one of the “top 5 in Holland.” The place is small and outdated, though, so it’s good for a day or an afternoon.
