Boven-Langs

A rustic place where I had a lovely time and slept well. It’s very peaceful.

We enjoyed breakfast outside after picking it up at the local supermarket. Our welcome was very friendly, and the room was incredibly clean and tidy. The bathroom looked lovely and had a fantastic shower, and the beds were so comfortable.

This was our second time here. A top location, and definitely worth coming back to.

I spent one night here in July 2023 while on a cycling tour, after booking through booking.com. My bike was kept in the garden, safe from the rain. The house has two apartments. I was in the one upstairs, with its own bathroom, living room, bedroom with kitchenette, and lovely balcony. The front door is shared with the downstairs apartment, but that’s the only shared part. I liked sitting out on the balcony in the evenings. When I arrived, the sun had set at 6 pm, and it didn’t come back until around 9 pm. Everything was clean, well maintained, and furnished with charm. John was friendly and unobtrusive. The dog barks when the doorbell rings, but otherwise you don’t see or hear him. There’s a supermarket around the corner, where I picked up what I needed for muesli and a simple dinner. Coffee and tea were provided and included. Across the way, the café was quite busy that evening, but quiet by 11 pm. I didn’t eat there. It was nice to have a break from restaurant meals. I slept very well, and the top-floor room was easy to ventilate. I’d recommend it 100%.
