The room had lovely decor, and the shower stayed hot, just how I like it. Our Host was gracious throughout the week and looked after us well. Getting to the small town could be tricky without transport, though. I’d recommend the place for a small training group or retreat.

I spent six days at Spijkvoorde and came away feeling rested. The hosts were wonderful, and the setting is so peaceful. I’d gladly recommend staying here and hope to come back.

Walks through the greenery begin right outside, and it’s a handy spot for cycling too. Our cottage was neat and comfortable, tucked among woods and meadows in a quiet setting. We were three, and it would suit a family of four as well. A lovely place to unwind.

I came back for a second week here within four months, and had another wonderful time. The fresh food was delicious every time, and I slept so well in the snug, cozy box bed. Thanks to the host and hostess. Until next time! Best regards, Marianne

The box bed room was cozy, and the bathroom facilities were excellent. It’s such a lovely, quiet place, and the hostess goes out of her way to make your stay perfect. I’ll definitely return.
