A quiet little find with really friendly staff and a restaurant that has a great menu. The rooms are on the small side, but clean, and the bathrooms have been renovated. Breakfast is fairly basic, though everything was fresh. WiFi worked quickly throughout the hotel, but the smart TVs weren't online, so there was no streaming.

We live nearby, so we've only been here for coffee and cake, which is a local favourite. The hotel looks out over the Ijssel river, and it's an easy walk along the water. For anyone visiting Doesburg, the location is handy too, just a short stroll from the city centre and its culture.

We found the staff at reception and in the restaurant relaxed and friendly. The hotel sits right on the Ijssel waterfront in Doesburg, and we enjoyed our stay there. All the rooms are upstairs on the first floor of a tall building. They're comfortable despite being a bit small. In summer, though, the sun hits the windows for much of the day, so it could get hot.

The staff were excellent, and breakfast was delicious. We also enjoyed the drinks and the riverfront outdoor dining area. Our room had a lovely view of the church tower. The bathrooms are small, though some rooms do have big tubs.

After wandering through old hansestad Doesburg, we continued to the riverbank terrace for a great view. Lunch was fresh and fantastic for a fair price, and the staff were really nice. A good espresso topped it off. Such a lovely place to settle in.
