My sister-in-law gave us a stay at Erfgoed Bossem, and we had such a good time. The food was delicious and fresh, with great quality, and was a real highlight. Our little cabin was cute, cozy, and comfortable. We loved the quiet and the nature around us. A lovely escape if you’re after something different and relaxing.

Our host was so kind and helpful, and even got the fireplace going for us. The rooms were comfortable, and the place had a lovely rustic feel. We had a really pleasant stay.

We had a nice time visiting the farm, and there are good bike rides nearby. Just avoid going on a hot summer day. The sterrenkubus is a fun idea, but some things could work better. The telescope they advertise for use from the room doesn’t actually work there, so you have to go outside. The staff were friendly, though they didn’t seem especially keen to help. There’s no air conditioning in the cubes, and they can get VERY hot. Opening the windows lets in mosquitoes, which was annoying. We had a fan running all night, but that doesn’t feel like a proper long-term fix.

We came for dinner rather than staying overnight, and we’ve had the set menu here three times. Every meal was marvelous. It’s one of the best places I’ve eaten, better than some Michelin-starred restaurants I’ve been to. The chef is a genius.

We only stayed one night at the farm while heading home, and immediately wished we had more time. Our basic room was big enough for our family of four. The beds were nice, the sheets were crisp and white, and we absolutely loved the breakfast. We’d definitely like to come back for at least two nights, so we can see the stars and enjoy the surroundings.
