We ended up extending our stay because the kids didn't want to go home! There’s a nature reserve just across the road, with a sandy play area for children. The pool was amazing, and we also tried the gym. Our room was clean and much more spacious than we expected, with a really good bed. Morning coffee was great, and breakfast had a wide range of fresh options. The staff were lovely to deal with, friendly and always ready to help.

We booked at the last minute because we needed a break from work, and this place near Eindhoven was just right. Slept really well in a good bed, and enjoyed a swim in the pool. The downside was getting woken by workers outside who were busy improving the hotel surroundings. Breakfast seemed a bit pricey, so we skipped it. Still glad we stayed.

Four-star hotel? Hahaha. The place is old, the rooms aren't maintained well, and the reception wasn't very nice.

The stained carpet and stale-feeling air made the room unwelcoming when we arrived. Check-in had also taken longer than expected. We’d told the hotel we were celebrating our anniversary and asked if we could have a nice room. They acknowledged the request and said they’d consider it, but there was no sign of any effort to make the occasion special. We expected more, especially after that response. We understand things can go wrong, but hope the hotel improves these areas for future guests.

On my cycling trip, I stayed overnight here and found the room and service excellent. The secure bike storage was the best I’ve ever seen, and the location worked perfectly for me, right by a beautiful woodland cycle path. The food and restaurant service were faultless.
