Bastion Hotel Leeuwarden

The breakfasts were very good, I was happy with dinner too, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is comfortable and decent overall, and the room itself had a modern renovation and was not bad in general. I was there for a two-week business trip working night shifts, so being able to sleep during the day mattered a lot. On the first floor at least, the rooms don't really work for that. Daylight came through the curtains, and sound insulation in the windows, door, and walls was critically poor. I could hear cars and people outside, sounds in the hall, and even cleaning in the room above. The cleaners also talked loudly and made noise, without seeming to consider that someone might be resting during the day.

We needed somewhere to stay after being discharged from A&E, while the insurance company sorted out our journey home. This hotel was close by, had a room free, and charged a reasonable price. The staff were excellent and very accommodating, and the noon checkout was much appreciated. For what it cost, I'd definitely recommend it.

We were in Leeuwarden for a business trip and spent one night at Hotel Bastion. It was a cozy, quiet spot to unwind after a long day, with a spacious room and welcoming staff. We had a very comfortable stay.

The rooms were just right, and the hotel's easy to reach with plenty of parking. It's in a really nice spot and was clean. The staff were amazing.
