The restaurant food was delicious and excellent quality, and breakfast was very good too. It’s à la carte rather than a buffet, which we really liked. The rooms were beautiful and very clean. The hotel is run by hotel school students, who were exceptionally friendly and went the extra mile. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it.

They don’t mention on booking that the academy isn’t in the hotel and costs extra. Apart from that, everything was five-star. The reception and breakfast staff were real pros; you wouldn’t think they were students at the school. Breakfast is à la carte and served incredibly well. The quality makes you want to return.

The raw, stained concrete-looking floor didn’t make the room feel warm, and it was fairly cold whenever I came back, so I had to turn the temperature up. The bar of soap meant to work as shampoo left my hair like a fluffy ball I couldn’t comb through. Most of all, insects in the bathroom made my stay unpleasant. I showed the staff pictures and they came to inspect, but I had to stay in the room. They joked about the bugs and only weakly suggested I might change rooms. Since it seemed there was no better option, I declined. On my fourth day, there were very big, fat insects on the bathroom floor and in the toilet bowl, and I told staff I couldn’t stay in that room any longer. They then moved me to a suite on the third floor, which had no insects.

The restaurant was a pleasure, and I’d especially recommend the evening tasting menu. Breakfast was tasty and had enough choices to try something different each day. My shy two-year-old daughter was looked after so thoughtfully by the servers, who tried to find activities for her and food she’d enjoy. We stayed five nights in a junior suite while visiting my grandparents nearby. There was plenty of space, parking was easy, and everything felt secure. All the staff were friendly and polite. We loved our stay and will come back when I visit my relatives. Thank you!
