The room was beautiful and had plenty of space for our group. De Doelen is also really well placed, with the main street and lots of other spots easy to reach on foot or by bike. We stayed for two and a half weeks with more than 20 people, and the staff were kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. We had a great time and would highly recommend it.

Right in the middle of Leiden, but still a quiet hotel. My single room, number 11, was small and neat, with a fully renovated bathroom. Shops and bars are all around, and breakfast with local items was included. The staff were polite and friendly.

The owners, who are brothers, made us feel welcome and were very helpful whenever we needed anything. Our huge room had loads of old-world character, and the building itself is wonderful. It’s a short walk to museums, shops, and places to eat. Thanks for keeping such a lovely historic place going.

We loved how welcoming the owner was, and the kindness shown to both me and my husband made the stay special. The building dates back to 1633, and our room had a lovely view. Great atmosphere and location too. We’ll come back. Dankuwel!

The staff were so warm and helpful, and made the stay feel special. This is a cozy old house right in the city center, with a view over the canal and busy streets full of bikes. Several museums are nearby, including the Japan museum just across the canal. We had a really pleasant and memorable visit.
