Postillion Hotel & Convention Centre WTC Rotterdam

The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable and clean too. The hotel is well located in the city centre, and breakfast was good. But the sound insulation is poor: you can hear the neighbours above and club music until midnight. One evening, there was no hot water in the shower.

The hotel is well located, but there’s nowhere to hang clothes in the rooms. There are shelves and just two hooks for coats, which won’t work for shirts or dresses. The shower door doesn’t close properly, so water gets out. They come in every day to change the towels, which doesn’t seem very sustainable, but they don’t make the beds or refill the tea bags when you’ve run out. What’s the point of room service then?

The location’s good if you like being kept awake at night, and I’ll probably take a few silverfish home after this stay. Reception closes at 11, and you should also plan on a 10min walk to breakfast.

The reception team made our visit, sharing useful sightseeing tips and helping us shape our days in the city. Postillion Hotel Rotterdam is compact, cozy, and very clean, with a simple, thoughtful design. It’s not a luxury stay, but the price felt fair for what we got. The location works especially well if you have a car, though it’s still accessible without one. We had a really pleasant time and would recommend it for an easy, comfortable stay in Rotterdam.
