Fletcher Hotel - Restaurant Leidschendam - Den Haag

We found the lobby and four floor atrium very stylish, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room faced the shopping mall, though there’s a lovely looking lake behind the hotel. The secure bike storage is on a sort of dock over the water. We had to charge our e-bike batteries in the room, since there’s no charging point in the bike area. We stayed two nights without meals during a cycling holiday, so we can’t comment on the hotel food. The location worked well for reaching the dunes and coast, and we spent a day cycling around and looking about Westfield Mall, where we had dinner.

The rooms were very clean, though a bit spartan. There was no fridge, but there was a Nespresso machine. I liked the location, right by one of the Netherlands’ biggest malls and a tram stop for quick, cheap rides to central The Hague or Delft. Once I figured out the free parking, that was great too. The main roads are easy to reach, and Gouda and Leiden are a short drive away, both worth visiting. We tried the restaurant twice. The first meal was exceptional, with very tender duck and lovely presentation. On the second visit, we were told after ordering that several menu items weren’t available. The fish was greasy and very unexceptional, so the restaurant was hit and miss.

The staff and atmosphere at Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Leidschendam-Den Haag were amazing, and we had a stay we won't forget. We’re French tourists, and everything in the room felt just right: it was superb, exceptionally clean, well equipped, and had a great TV. The bed was incredibly comfortable. We loved our visit and plan to come back for a longer stay. It's become a dear memory for us. Thanks for everything, and see you again soon!

We really liked how friendly and helpful the reception staff were. Check-in and check-out went smoothly, and the staff explained the food in such a warm way. The food and drinks were delicious: we loved the steak, fish, salad, and ice cream. We enjoyed everything about the hotel, including the view.
