Johannes is a fantastic host who really cares about making guests feel welcome. Breakfast was satisfying, the rooms were well kept, and parking was no problem at all. The place is simple and clean, with everything you need for a comfortable night. We had a great stay and will be back.

Jonas looked after me so well. He’s a cheerful, friendly host, and the varied breakfast was very good. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a large bathroom and a very good shower. Right at the entrance to Lelystad, this is a perfect place to rest and spend a few days in town. I’d recommend it 100%.

The host was so friendly and lovely with our little baby, and served us a delicious breakfast in a stylish room. Our room was comfortable and had all the facilities, plus a big bathroom. Free parking right in front of the room was a nice bonus. We had a great experience.

We’ll definitely come back next time we’re in the area. Johannes was such a welcoming host, and his repeated “no problem” really did feel like he wanted to help with whatever guests needed. We originally picked B&B de Valkenhorst because it was conveniently located for us, just a five-minute walk, but we got so much more.

Delicious breakfast, great rooms, and a really friendly, welcoming host. Highly recommend it. I’ll definitely stay here again if I’m back in the area.
