Onthaasten in de Achterhoek

Such a nice place to unwind.

We arrived to a warm, friendly welcome from the reception staff at this beautifully located park in Livelde. After picking up the key, we checked the cottage and found it clean and very neat. The Wellness cottage has a hot tub and sauna. The hot tub takes a few hours to heat with the special logs provided there. Bring a thermometer to check the temperature, otherwise it can get very hot. We loved the sauna too, though it could use an update. The peaceful natural surroundings are lovely, and we'd definitely come back.

The reception staff are very friendly, and you can reach them through their own app. Breakfast can be ordered to your door, which is a good tip. House number 10-47 is in this beautiful setting of idyllic cottages and villas. The small park is very well maintained, though the gardening must take a lot of work. Some homes are privately owned, so coordinating jobs isn't always possible. On weekends, you can hear motorcycles from the motocross track. For chilly evenings there's a wood-burning stove inside and out. The area is lovely for walks, and the kitchen has everything you need, with luxuries like bathrobes included. “Relaxation” really is the right name for this place.

A lovely park with great facilities, set in beautiful surroundings where it's easy to truly relax.
