The room was so clean I could practically have eaten off the floor, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. After a huge walk, I slept like a baby elephant. The weather was rainy, so it was nice to spend the evening in the room with Netflix and a PlayStation. They made us a plentiful, fresh, delicious breakfast in the morning. The staff were helpful and flexible, and the place has a special, welcoming feel. If you go to Lisse, book here!

It makes me sad to hear the restaurant with the delicious food is now closed for good. The B&B concept is fantastic, though. Our room was tidy, and the owners and staff made us feel almost like family. We’ll come again.

Lots of choices for vegans, plus cheese, meat, and fish. The staff are friendly, and there’s a kids’ area. Awesome place!

We could use the common room and kitchen downstairs, and several restaurants were within walking distance. Oude Pastorie has just three rooms, so we hardly saw or heard anyone, which made for a very pleasant stay. Our room was clean and spacious, and we had two wonderful nights there. Noordwijk, Leiden, and Amsterdam are about a 20-minute drive away. We highly recommend Lisse and the accommodation, and would happily return.

The menu looked appetizing and the terrace felt cozy, so it was a real shame that our visit ended this way. A friendly young woman told us they were open when we arrived, but we sat there for 10 minutes without seeing anyone and then left. They’re losing customers like this. We won’t be back. Luckily, there’s a pleasant square where guests are appreciated.
