The hotel is amazing, and I’ve been coming since 2019. The staff are so kind and friendly, the food and drinks are good, and they make you feel welcome. There’s plenty to see and do, including walks nearby, hyacinth fields just behind the hotel, and lots of other flowers, roses, and orchids. You can smell the hyacinths from the hotel. It’s very close to Keukenhof, the Dutch flower garden in Lisse. There’s a bus stop just across the road, and the ride is quick. After a few stops, get off around the corner and walk down past the bikes to the back entrance. The bus from Gatwick to Amsterdam takes only an hour, and it stops right outside the hotel. It’s simple and easy to get there.

The location is excellent for seeing the tulips. We stayed one night while on a bike tour, and they kept our bikes safely locked away. The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable, and both dinner and breakfast were very good. Everyone was friendly.

The rooms are spacious and clean, and you can hire a bike, which worked perfectly for my evening swims at the beach, about a 30-40 minute ride away. The hotel was convenient for my work, though there isn’t much else right nearby. There’s a bus stop directly outside with routes to most local towns and AMS airport. I’d happily come back.

We stopped in for a simple meal. The staff were friendly, and parking was easy and free. We had a dish called “zaten”; it tasted nice, though nothing was especially memorable. The place feels a bit dated.

The driver brought a group of 20 people but unfortunately wasn’t given a meal. The staff’s response was disappointing: they asked him to pay for his food. I asked the tour operator to use a different restaurant address next time. Owner, you should be ashamed. Have a nice day.
