A lovely little place to eat beside the picturesque Dutch river, the Vecht.

The lunch plates we’ve tried have all been good, and we haven’t had dinner here yet. Geesberge is especially nice when the weather’s good: the outdoor seating looks onto the canal, and there’s a small playground close by, so the kids can play while the adults relax. Inside, there’s a little playroom for them too.

Fast, friendly service, and a handy place to stop for a break during a bike ride along the nearby river. Families can use the lounge tables and playground, which are nice for kids.

The portions felt a little small, but the food was delicious. Service was excellent, and I’d definitely come back.

The music and ambience were both good, and it’s easy to get to from the vecht. Drinks were the one downside for me, since they were expensive.
