There’s plenty of outdoor space for eating or just unwinding, and the owner was incredibly kind. We also tried the extra breakfast, brought to us in a wicker basket with a nice range of food. The room is a little house on wheels, thoughtfully put together with all the comforts and a welcoming feel for a couple’s getaway. It’s in a very quiet spot near Holten, surrounded by nature, so it was easy to relax. I’d highly recommend it for a peaceful break.

The hostess was warm and quick to answer questions, and she made us a really tasty breakfast. Staying in a gypsy wagon was a fun, unusual experience, and otherwise we had a pleasant visit. The main drawback was the shower beside the wagon. It was freezing in there because the heater didn’t work. The water itself was hot, but stepping out into the cold was rough. We had bathrobes in the wagon, though slippers would’ve helped too. Rain also left the entrance mat damp, so dirt got carried inside.

The cottage has everything you need and gives you plenty of privacy. Our host was very welcoming, and breakfast was a real treat. A lovely choice if you’re after quiet and nature.

A roomy, pleasant gypsy wagon with its own toilet, shower and a little cooking setup. The outdoor space is lovely too. It’s peaceful, and would work really well for cyclists.
