During our three-week stay, the host repeatedly came around with a terrible attitude and showed no respect for our privacy. I have voicemails that back this up. A few examples: • She refused to take a card payment, so we had to walk 1 hour 20 minutes round trip to pay in cash. • After we forgot to take the bins out one morning, she asked, “Are you breeding rats? Do you want me to have to kill a rat?” • Clean, washed dishes hadn't been put away yet, and she asked why we were disrespecting the house of Jeff and why our hygiene was so poor. • We forgot to turn off the sitting room light before leaving for the day, and she asked if electricity was free in our country, saying people have to pay in the Netherlands. • At 8 p.m. she came into the property to say we'd parked in private parking and had to move the car, adding that we'd made her dinner cold. There were no signs saying the parking was private. Towels cost extra and aren't refreshed, and there are extra fees for gas and electricity. I strongly suggest nobody books this accommodation. I have messages and voicemails to support what I've described. The photos below show how we left the accommodation.

The location is actually great. The village is cute, there are some nice facilities within walking distance, and bigger villages are easy to reach by car. Wervershoof is a place I can recommend, but I wouldn't stay here again. This park has 72 houses owned by different people, so the quality varies a lot. I'm also unsure what the management company does to maintain the park. Haus Angel is not recommendable at all. It's an older mobile home, and maintenance and deep cleaning have been neglected. The garden, broken lamps and skirting boards, and peeling paint all showed the lack of care. On top of that, the management company charges a €60 “cleaning fee.” That feels like a farce given the condition of the accommodation, especially since the rental contract says guests must do the basic cleaning before they leave. I've never been more disappointed in a holiday rental.
