Breakfast had an unusually wide selection, and the hotel is very centrally located beside Middelburg’s old town. I liked the tasteful design, which brings together natural and modern elements. The only thing I noticed was that the staff sometimes seemed tense with one another. A sensitive observer would pick up on it right away.

We ended up staying here at the last minute because of an emergency while cruising late in the day. It was the only hotel with a room available, and what a lucky find: stunning decor, beautiful rooms, and delicious food in the breakfast restaurant and bar. The receptionist who helped us was amazing. Now I’m hoping to return to the area and this hotel!

I’ve stayed here before and would definitely choose it again. The rooms were roomy, clean, nicely decorated, and in excellent repair. Staff were friendly and accommodating, and breakfast was very good.
10/10
The Green Room restaurant was excellent, with fine dining that was mainly vegetarian and options to add meat or fish. The hotel itself is trendy, has good beds, and is in a great location.
10/10
There’s a very good restaurant for dinner, and breakfast includes hot dishes. The rooms are large, clean, comfortable, and have good showers. Staff were pleasant, and it felt like good value for money. The modern hotel is well placed for visiting Middelburg. If you book through the hotel’s own website, you get a free evening drink.
