July 2025 The good points: a lovely, very quiet spot with a terrace and beautiful garden, plus bicycle storage in the garden shed. The landlord was friendly, and the modern bathroom was nice. It's a 15-minute walk to town and five minutes to Aldi and the bakery. There's a Senseo machine with pods. The studio is very small, about 3x10m, more like a good hotel room. Once you take out the bathroom and kitchen, there's only 15 square meters left for a bed and table. The kitchen is about 1.80m long. Storage is limited: one small 60cm wardrobe, two shelves, one hanging shelf, and two bedside tables. There are no loungers on the terrace, no toaster, and no small bowls for things like cereal.

The owners deserve a mention too. They live right next door and are incredibly friendly, with useful tips for planning a holiday. The location is so quiet, but it only takes a few minutes to get to the city center or countryside. The accommodation is spacious, fantastic, and high quality. That amazing bathroom alone earns five stars. Absolutely top-notch! 👌👌👌

We loved the terrace overlooking the beautiful garden, with all its different plants. It felt like a lovely little oasis. The place was clean and tastefully furnished, and the center of Middelburg is only a few minutes away by foot or bike. The landlords welcomed us warmly, explained everything, and gave us lots of useful suggestions for bike rides. They also have route maps you can take as copies. Parking is free right in front of the house, and we could store our bikes in a lockable outbuilding. We'll definitely come back.

The room was very clean, had everything we needed, and was conveniently close to the beautiful center of Middelburg. We got a friendly welcome and even a bottle opener when we left.
